NOTE: All teams, volunteers, swimmers, families, etc., agree to have a safe swim meet and lots of fun. We all need to work together to facilitate a fantastic divisional swim meet. We will set up inside and use the CFISD property. Please do not allow your children to throw objects, including caps, goggles, towels, balls, etc. Please do not allow your children to horseplay in general or in the bathrooms; water stays where it belongs and should not be thrown, spit or dumped on anyone, especially indoors.

Ready Bench REMINDERS:

A ready bench is offered to assist younger swimmers in navigating a large swim meet. Swimmers are expected to arrive at the ready bench when their events are called so heat, and lane seating can happen in a timely manner. Swimmers 13 & up who do not arrive at the ready bench when expected may be responsible for getting to their own races. The meet will not be held up or stopped for swimmers not arriving to the blocks when their heat is run. Each team's dedicated volunteer parents are responsible for assisting their swimmers in getting to the ready bench.

Bathrooms: The bathrooms in the pool area are for ATHLETES ONLY. Spectator bathrooms are located near the cafeteria and setup areas, and NO SWIMMERS are permitted in those bathrooms as we don’t need slips or falls. All swimsuit changes need to be done in the athlete bathrooms.

Parking:

  • Parking lot at the back of Campbell between the school and the football field will be reserved for handicapped (must have proper placard or license plate per the law) and only vehicles carrying heavy equipment.
  • All swimmer families and spectator's parking will be across the street at Pridgeon Stadium.

Team Setup: All teams will have a space inside the cafeteria and will be marked off during Friday night set up.

Spectator Seating is COME AND GO ONLY! Due to the size of the meet (all 6 teams), there is not enough seating for anyone to stay the whole meet in one spot. There will be NO camping out on the bleachers. There will be no seat cushions, no seats, no bleacher seats, no towels to sit on (swimmers should have their towels), no bags, and no coolers. Parents should be free and clear of anything other than themselves to sit and watch. If parents or any spectators do not come and go, the Meet Ref will stop the meet and clear out the entire viewing area. NO WET SWIMMERS IN THE VIEWING AREA TO PREVENT SLIPS AND FALLS. We understand that kids/parents want to celebrate their great swims, but please do that in your setup area.

CONCESSIONS:

There will be several teams hosting concession fundraisers - Breakfast Menu: tacos, donuts, kolaches, muffins, watermelon, coffee ... Lunch Menu: Hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, chips ... Winchester will have snacks, candy, desserts & snowcones...

  • PARKING – Everyone will park across the street at Pridgeon and walk over with their things. There will be NO DRIVE-UP TO UNLOAD at the doors. Only those who have equipment to run the meet will be permitted to do so, which will be done primarily on Friday night.
  • HANDICAP PARKING is permitted at Campbell, but there must be valid placards or license plates. Please let anyone on your Team know that the parking lot is not meant for come-and-go….we will have swimmers outside there.
