JUNIOR WHALES

Swim lessons. The junior whales are made up of swimmers 6 and under who are just starting out and cannot yet swim across the pool unassisted. These swimmers will always have coaches in the water with them so that they can receive the help they need to feel comfortable and learn the basics. There’s not really a requirement to be in this group, but it's very helpful if the kiddos are comfortable putting their faces in the water and are not afraid of the water.

WHITE group

The objective and goal of this group is to provide an opportunity for these kids to learn how to swim freestyle and backstroke correctly. They may have some limited experience, but are still new to swimming and need additional supervision. Kids in this group should be able to swim short distances by themselves and can get across the pool with the help of lane ropes.

SILVER group

Our silver group consists of swimmers aged 6-10 who are proficient in freestyle and backstroke. We will also begin learning the basics of breaststroke and butterfly.

BLUE group

We would like swimmers in this group to know all four strokes. They should be proficient in freestyle and backstroke and mostly legal in breaststroke and butterfly. They should also be familiar with flip turns.

BLACK group

Our black group is for experienced swimmers who are proficient in all four strokes, can execute turns, and can complete a demanding workout with intervals.
