Hello Killer Whale families!!

Can you believe we are down to our last two weeks of regular practice? Summer swim is flying by!

New Practice Schedule

Starting this week, we will begin our new summer schedule:

Morning Practices – Tuesday to Friday

• Junior Whales: 8:00–8:30am
• White Group 1: 8:30–9:00am
• White Group 2: 9:00–9:30am
• Silver Group: 9:30–10:15am
• Blue Group: 10:15–11am
• Black Group: 11–12pm

Evening Practices – Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Ages 10 & Under: 4:00–4:45pm
• Ages 11 & Up: 4:45–5:30pm

I have attached the practice group assignments that Coach Chase sent out last week. If you have any questions about practice groups or times, please reach out to Coach Chase ([email protected] or (281)-716-7972).

Last Dual Meet (This Weekend)

Our final dual meet of the season is a home meet this Saturday! Please remember to declare your swimmer and sign up for volunteer jobs.

Divisionals (Next Weekend)

Divisionals is our big season finale! All teams in our division - Birnamwoods, Woodlands Marlins, Spring Creek Forest, and North Spring - will compete together to determine the Division Champion.

It is not an invitational, so there are no time standards. The only eligibility requirements are that your swimmer has swam in at least two dual meets and they must have an official time for the event(s) they would like to compete in (not from Time Trials or a DQ).

This will held at Bleyl Middle School (another indoor natatorium!), and I’ll be sure to send out more details next week.

Allstars and Ponderosa

Speaking of invitationals, the two post-season invitationals our team participates in are Allstars and Ponderosa. We’ve had a number of qualifiers already, and swimmers can still qualify this weekend and at Divisionals. Sign-ups for these invitationals will open after the meet this weekend and all qualifiers will receive a separate email with further details.
