Killer Whales Weekly Update: Picture Day Tomorrow & First Home Meet
Hello Killer Whales!
We’ve made it to our double weekends of home meets! But first…
Team Picture Day!
We will be taking individual and team photos at the pool tomorrow (Tuesday). Please plan to arrive at 5:15 so we can line everyone up shortest to tallest at take our team picture at 5:30. Swimmers should wear their 2026 team shirts with navy blue or black bottoms. (You can grab your team shirt tomorrow if you haven’t already).
You’re welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 if you'd like to take individual photos early with our team photographer, Ashley Windsor. Otherwise, individual photos will take place after the team picture. (Individual photos are typically taken in the team suit, but swimmers may wear whatever they feel most comfortable in.)
The photo order form is attached. Feel free to complete it in advance or pick one up at the pool.
Please note:
- White and Silver groups: No practice tomorrow
- Junior Whales, Blue, and Black groups: Plan on practice as usual
Upcoming Schedule Change
With Memorial Day here and school wrapping up, the pool is now open to the neighborhood in the afternoons.
Starting next week, practices will shift to mornings once school is out. Evening practice options will also be available for families who cannot attend morning sessions
We’ll share finalized practice times soon! Keep an eye out for an email and/or on the website here.
